A Taste of Heritage (SOLD OUT)
A Caribbean-Inspired Black History Month Supper Club at Table in the Stable
Celebrate Black History Month through food, heritage and shared experience with A Taste of Heritage, a special supper club at Table in the Stable on Saturday 10 October 2026.
Inspired by the flavours and memories of Chef John Colston-Lynch’s Caribbean family kitchen, the menu brings his heritage to life using locally sourced ingredients from across Kent.
The evening invites guests to gather around communal tables in the beautifully restored Grade II-listed stable, located between Wye and Ashford, to experience the joyful flavours of Caribbean heritage, share conversation and make connections that last beyond the evening.
Guests will be served dishes including marinated soft shell crab with pineapple Creole, jerk pork belly and seared red snapper with yam and coconut torte, spiced callaloo and Scotch bonnet sauce followed by a dark rum dessert with soursop ice cream, banana caramel and peanut popcorn.
