HOW BLACK CORE SHOWS UP

What We Do

We create opportunities for Black and Diaspora communities to connect, celebrate culture and build stronger communities across Kent.

Community Gatherings

Members of Folkestone Black and Brown community gather on Mermaid Beach for the monthly Ginger Tea meetup.

Fostering Connections

More than a meetup, our monthly Ginger Tea gathering, which was inspired by People Dem Collective, is a welcoming space where Black and Diaspora people, their families, friends and allies come together to connect, share stories and foster lasting community.
